Native School of English

Patrick Butler will be teaching mainly Upper-Intermediate (level 4), First Certificate (FCE) (level 5) students, as well as Cambridge Advanced (CAE).

After these levels you can expect to be able to:

• Understand and use advanced phrasal and conceptual expressions
• Describe yourself in a wide range of details and report on events from all topics
• Interact with English speakers in everyday life with advanced language
• Understand almost all written information such as brochures, newspapers and magazines and books
• Understand announcements and other spoken material when spoken in a variety of situations
• Interact fully in a conversation at a level suitable for English speaking countries

Patrick comes from the south-east of Ireland. He lived in London for 14 years with a year in Southern France. He has lived in Slovakia for 6 years and has been teaching for 5 and a half. He has worked for a number of language academies as well as the Bilingual Grammar School in Sučany. He has over 4 years experience teaching advanced levels of English which include the British Council certificate exams, FCE and CAE.
